It would be preferable to be able to edit reviews. Its easy to make simple spelling mistakes while creating rating a game on the go.

Yes that is definitely something that should be considered once new updates for the database part is planned. 
For now, working around it: If you write a review and change your mind/some minor mistakes, you can just copy the text and click the review button again. Paste and finish your review. Once you click confirm, it will overwrite your previous review.
