Sometimes when it comes to board games for younger children it can always be difficult on what board game to get for them that will keep them entertained but that they will also enjoy as well with the whole family.
What board games would you recommend for someone buying for a younger child or children? And that would provide some enjoyment for you as well?

Rhino Hero is great for all ages.
King of Tokyo can work great if you remove the card play until they are ready for it. What child doesn't like chucking dices?!
Camel Up as a racing game. Quest for El Dorado as well for older kids.
Mice and Mystics is great for story. Helps if the kids are native English speakers, but has worked for me to just translate the story as we progress.

+1 for King of Tokyo. Looks silly, but is fun and light-hearted with limited setup and quick to teach. Perfect for kids playing together without adults as well once they get the basics.

King of Tokyo is a good board game for kids. I have seen some clips of it and I liked what I saw.

Kingdomino is also a nice fit: the only difficult part is staying inside the 5x5 or 7x7 grid.
